I am always ‘moved’ by the message of the cross: God invades our space, moves into our neighborhood, identifies with us, including out guilt and shane, declares us righteous—a gospel of inclusion. 

“He drew a circle that shut me out-

Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.

But love and I had the wit to win:

We drew a circle and took him In!”
